Instant Messenger Encryption

In case you know it or not, the normal traffic you generate when using an instant messenger is transmitted over the internet in clear text. The interesting thing here, is there are programs you can find (in a surprising number of sites) where you can grab all the IM traffic on your local subnet. I use one to practice combatting the problem myself. You would not believe the stuff that people tell each other in these Instant Messengers. I for one have used encryption in my messaging for quite a while. There are lots of ways to protect your conversations, but one of the more overlooked encryption methods for the four top Instant Messengers is

The free version is for only "one at a time" operation. But the pay version is for the serious chatter since it encrypts and decodes all your messages on all your IMs at the same time. SIMP works on (in alphabetical order):
