Secure Memo

Here is a nice little app. It is called "Secure Memo".this is the about screen for Secure Memo. As you can see, it is pretty simple to use. It is a password protected notepad app. It uses 128bit encryption and is nominally secure. But if you lose the password, the document (it is a notepad or text item after all) is locked forever. To download it without the installer, just click on the gold padlock (below)and put it somewhere on your system. It will run anywhere, but I recommend you put it in your program files directory under it's own directory. Then make a shortcut to it. Will solve the problem of forgetting where you put it.

Another way to get the application with an installer, is to visit the creators website. If you go there, you can download the app with an installer which takes all the work out of putting the application where it should go. Try this one if you don't like to put things where they should be in your filesystem.

There are other free apps there you can pick up in your search for all things free and easy on the web, so check it out.
