Are people really that stupid?

Had a person ask me a really tough and very "specific" question about the computer they was using. They wanted to know how to show the clip board contents. Well, I might have been having a bad day but the response was: Uh, type "clipbrd" in the run line usually works. There is also a "help and support" section right in XP. Plus!, Your local public library probably has many books on the subject of Windows Operating systems and computers. On top of that, there is also a search capability at http://www.microsoft.com which has answers to many of the questions you might have about any of the "Microsoft Windows" products. Next time you want to take the time to: * make up an e-mail with a simple question, * send it off, * wait for a reply, * then see if it works....., How about limiting the amount of "my time" your wasting & others time, by asking something you could have looked up yourself in 1/10th of the time it took me to write this!
Just because you own a computer, does not mean you can get away with not learning to do things for yourself!
Obviously they never took the time to read what I try and write on a day-to-day basis. Otherwise they would have know this before sending me a stupid question.
